Toledo surgeons help U.S. soldiers in Germany

Video and text: Two vascular surgeons from the Jobst Vascular Center at Toledo Hospital volunteered to work for 2 weeks at Landstuhl Medical Center. It’s the largest U.S. hospital outside the United States and the primary trauma facility for soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Anthony Comerota says, “I couldn’t sleep the first three nights I was there seeing what these young men and women are exposed to.”
